I am a Seattle photographer obsessed with capturing your ideal image. With nearly two decades of film and digital photography experience, I have been lucky to work my passion into a profession. My clients include collectors who appreciate my photographic art, persons looking to capture their essence in a portrait to last a lifetime, and event planners wanting to document the energy of a special occasion with a series of perfect pictures.

My photographic art has been featured at several Northwest art shows. Many of my portraits and head shots have become iconic customer favorites. My event clients range from intimate to large weddings, red carpet receptions, corporate and private parties, book launch events, sporting events, and even high school homecomings. I see life as a series of perfect snapshots. My goal is always to capture those perfect moments for you—to find the feeling and personality of the person or event, to preserve memories in magic images and create a record of your magnificence. And to do it in an easy and affordable way.

I’ve had a passion for capturing images on film since my grandmother bought me a Kodak Instamatic X-15 with its bulky 126 film cartridge and big disposable flip flash! My passion grew and so did my equipment—a Pentax K-1000, a Minolta, and now the incredible power of multi-body digital photography.

I look at everything around me as if looking through the lens of my Nikon. I’m forever framing shots, gauging light, chasing shadows. Every blink is a snapshot. Every memory a photograph in my mind. I live to show you what I see with my photography.

I’ve been told I’m easy going and relaxed (and not just by my wife!) which makes me very successful at capturing perfect portraits. My event clients tell me I blend in and move fluidly through even the toughest venues capturing a portfolio of images that are perfect for promotion. I enjoy people and the quiet moments that make up our lives and memories, and I enjoy nothing more than capturing those moments for you. I like to capture everything about life. Simply.

I’m available for most any photography needs you may have: Family portrait for Christmas cards—your children in natural and spontaneous play—preserving your son's touchdown or your daughter's goal—corporate or private events—padding your modeling portfolio—business photos—or just filling your family photo album.

I believe that the commisioned images I take for you should be yours to enjoy. So while many photographers give you limited choices, I provide you options. All my sessions and shoots include all FINAL images in both Facebook-friendly size and print-ready size with full limited use print releases and an online digital gallery where you can order prints on 200 year Kodak metallic paper starting at under $2, or download to print yourself. While I encourage ordering prints through my lab, I don't require my customers to pay highly inflated prices for their own images in order to enjoy them. To encourage my clients to purchase prints from my nationaly recognized lab though, my prices are VERY competitive with local drugstores and box store printing services with MUCH higher quality. Additionally, all print orders go through my own two-step quality control process before going to the lab, and after and prior to delivery to you.

These prices are subject to change and are presented here to give you a starting point to my price structure. However, every shoot and every event is different, and I customize pricing based on the needs of you, so contact me to discuss how we can make your photo needs a reality.

Booking Fees

All packages include:
All final images in Facebook friendly size and resolution.
All final images available in private online gallery for print ordering at discounted rates
All final images available for download from online gallery for your own local or lab printing.
Limited use print releases with small 'MH' watermark.

• Portrait Shoots: Starting at $250
  Includes: 1 hour on location or in-studio session with up to 25 people.
  Unlimited poses, wardrobe changes and shots.
  At least 12 final digital images (typical delivery is 20-40 however)
  $25 credit for online ordering prints (at my prices, is at least 4 8x10s)
  
  
• Events (Parties, corporate events, but NOT weddings): Starting at $250
  Includes: 1 hour on location (Additional hours $150)
  Candid and posed-candids of event
  Add-ons:
  Portrait area/red-carpet $100 additional (flat-fee)

• Weddings: Starting at $1500 (base starting point... weddings are quoted)
  Includes: Up to 4 hours day of wedding. (Additional Hours $200, with max two locations)
  Portait/Poses and candids as desired.
  $150 credit for online ordering of prints.

  Rehearsal Dinner Photographs: $150 per hour
